University receives an 'A' for Web site admissions function
11/1/2006
Alfred University has received an “A” for admissions functionality on its Web site from the Enrollment Power Index (EPI).

EPI is a program funded by the National Research Center for College and University Admissions. EPI is a review and evaluation of every college Web site in the United States, which include over 300,000 schools.

High school students from across the United States scored every college Web site in the country. They looked for many key features such as the ability for students to apply online, find tuition or financial aid information or even the ability to contact an admissions office to set-up a campus visit. They also graded the colleges on the ease of navigation of their Web site. Students gave each college a “grade” ranging from A to F.

Alfred University received an A; only 157 schools received such a high grade and that puts the University in the top 5 percent of all college Web sites.
