Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles, Calif., tops the rankings of admissions Web sites for postsecondary institutions in a list recently released by the National Research Center for College and University Admissions. The rankings were taken from a survey of online sites of more than 3,000 colleges and universities across the country. The survey looked at the functionality, design, and how well it takes potential students from prospect to applicant. The top 10 Web sites are from the following schools:

1. Mount St. Mary’s College
2. Whitman College
3. Arizona State University
4. Covenant College
5. York College of Pennsylvania
6. Fort Hays State University
7. University of North Carolina, Pembroke
8. Augustana College
9. Southern Utah University
10. College of the Holy Cross
