Successful Recruitment® Seminars
Announcing Seminars for 2006-2007
(Lee’s Summit, MO) – The National Research Center for College & University Admissions (NRCCUA), the leading organization connecting young people and their families with colleges and universities around the country, recently hosted two Successful Recruitment® Seminars of the 2006-2007 season. The 60 plus attendees of the Chicago and Cleveland Successful Recruitment Seminars join over 500 past attendees as seminar Alumni.
Don Munce, President of NRCCUA, said, "We are thrilled to provide these sessions at no cost to so many colleges and universities around the United States. It is our goal to provide actionable insights that anyone directly involved in admissions marketing strategies can put to work right away."
Marlin Blankenship from Southeastern Oklahoma University, a recent attendee of a Successful Recruitment Seminar, said, "I praise your organization on the free workshop you held in Dallas. I have been to many workshops before that have cost enormous amounts of money and none of them have been anywhere near as helpful as yesterdays!"
The knowledge gained by attending enabled decision-makers and their admissions staff to place new ideas into action as they evaluated their current student-recruitment processes and planned for a successful future. Attendees learned to:
  • Set better admissions marketing goals;
  • Make more targeted enrollment decisions;
  • Improve their institution’s communication with qualified students;
  • Produce more satisfying results!
"The seminar was a great 'idea trigger'. I left with 15 action steps that I would like to incorporate into our action plan for 2006-2007. Thanks for the help that you and your team provided for all of the schools," said Troy Nelson, Executive Director of Admissions at Ozark Christian College.
For the first time, NRCCUA will host a 2 day workshop for Successful Recruitment Seminar Alumni in early 2007. The seminar will be broken into a variety of workshops to delve further into topics such as setting marketing goals, improving list selection and communication follow-through.
