NRCCUA® Announces New Chief Operating Officer
Tammy Ogren named COO
The National Research Center for College & University Admissions™ (NRCCUA®), operators of the nation's largest college and career planning program, My College Options®, today announced that Tammy Ogren will serve as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Ogren, who has held several leadership roles at NRCCUA, adds responsibility for leading the organization’s operations to her accomplishments.
Ms. Ogren joined NRCCUA in 1984 and is dedicated to the growth and development of organizations and individuals. She is passionate about connecting educational and career opportunities to teens and adults. Having spent over 28 years in the educational marketing research arena with NRCCUA and other higher ed organizations, Tammy has served in several executive leadership roles and has maintained a consistent track record of building and leading top-performing teams.
She graduated Magna Cum Laude with her B.A. in Management and Human Relations, earned her M.B.A. from Mid-America Nazarene University, and is currently working on her Ph.D., Business Administration, Industrial Organizational Psychology specialty. In addition to her work at NRCCUA, Tammy has served as faculty and academic advisor in online and brick & mortar collegiate environments.
Focusing on the future, Ogren is charged with developing a system to help each core team at NRCCUA with growth, development and accountability towards reaching the company’s objectives. This role immediately tasks her with maximizing the potential of each employee. Her proven experience in evaluating concepts and strategies and creating and implementing efficient operational systems in accordance with measurable business goals and objectives will help her in leading others toward excellence.
