Non-profit Applications
There are benefits to being classified as a Non-Profit mailer. However,
with those benefits comes the qualification process. We have given you the applications for
that process below.
This card deck mailing is considered a co-op mailing for non-profit purposes and
each participant must have approved non-profit status prior to the mail drop from the
Illinois post office.
Please print and complete the 3623 USPS application , Section 1 must show your
institution's name exactly as it appears at your local post office. Section 7 must
also be completed with the authorization number as it appears on Form 3624,
which established your school's non-profit status. This is usually a six- or
seven- digit number but is NOT your permit number. Call your local post office to
easily obtain this information.
Along with this form (3623), please attach a statement allowing NRCCUA to mail
your card at the non-profit rate from an additional post office location. Please
use the nonprofitsampleletter document as your guide. This request MUST be
written on your institution's official letterhead.
