Whether it’s a large- or small-scale email broadcast, highly personalized with full-color photographs or a simple text message, you can individualize email communication and get connected with students fast. Schedule ongoing email messages to students at any time of year and for any number of communications. eProspector helps you generate interest and inquiries online, while eQualifier allows you to strengthen your institution’s relationship with your inquiry pool.

Your institution’s email message can be sent in a text or HTML format. Some email software can only deliver text-only messages. Where available, HTML messages allow a more powerful and attractive format, using rich text, color and graphics. The eProspector® and eQualifier® systems have the capability to send both versions when HTML is not supported.

Participation Benefits

  • Message personalization: An important aspect of responsive email campaigns.
  • Merge fields: Allow student data, such as name or high school, to be inserted. Conditional content: allows the message itself to be tailored to the student’s profile. For example, insert a paragraph that is used only for accounting majors or a paragraph only for engineering majors.
  • Trackable links: Allow reporting of which links are clicked on when a message is read. In most cases your message will drive the recipient to a page on your website. It’s important to know how many times those links are utilized!
  • Web insert: A powerful feature allowing the contents of a Web page to be inserted into the HTML message. For example, if you wanted to include a list of alumni from the student’s high school, you could create a Web page to display that table, and insert it into the email message.
  • Student responses: Message recipients will join your institution’s email list by replying to the message, or clicking through to and submitting an inquiry form.

All students receiving email broadcasts through eProspector and eQualifier have real-time ability to opt out at any time, ensuring no unwanted mail is delivered to that address. This system takes advantage of opt-out information gained by all NRCCUA institutional members who use the service. As students go through the decision-making process and decide they don’t need additional recruitment messages, they’re purged from our files, saving you the expense and negative exposure of emailing students who don’t want to hear from you.
