NRCCUA is pleased and excited to work with so many educational organizations that help us provide top-notch student research to the educational community. Along with these partners, we are able to help students with the intense college selection process. These organizations are the Nation's leaders in student and educator advocacy and rely on the data and analysis gathered in the NRCCUA Research Partner Program to support their organizations and members.

Through the collective efforts of NRCCUA, its members and the educational organizations listed below, we are providing students and families with the most relevant and necessary information about their educational plans. Community Based Associations


National Alliance of Black School Educators -

NABSE is the nation's premiere organization devoted to furthering academic success for children, and dedicated to improving the educational experiences and accomplishments of African American youth to increase levels of inspiration, attendance and overall achievement. NABSE, with the support of NRCCUA, has created a "Pipeline for African American Teachers" to identify African American high school students who have expressed an interest in teaching as a career and to invite them to participate in mentoring programs that will help them achieve their goals.


American Association of School Administrators -

AASA is the professional association for more than 13,000 educational leaders across the United States. Their mission is to support and develop effective school system leaders who are dedicated to the highest quality public education for all children. NRCCUA is supporting AASA in their effort to inform superintendents and educators nationwide on the college and career goals of their students.


National Council for the Social Studies -

NCSS has grown to be the largest association in the country devoted solely to social studies education. Their mission is to provide leadership, service and support for all social studies educators as they teach students the content knowledge, intellectual skills and civic values necessary for fulfilling the duties of citizenship in a participatory democracy. Through research they are highlighting levels of social studies knowledge and the way it impacts students' literacy and desire to be actively engaged as citizens.


National Art Education Association -

Serving more than 20,000 active members, NAEA is the leading professional organization for art educators in pre-kindergarten through grade 12 as well as college and university professors and researchers, administrators, and museum educators. NAEA is assisted by NRCCUA in their mission to promote art education through professional development, service, advancement of knowledge, and leadership.


Association for Career and Technical Education -

The Association for Career and Technical Education is the largest national education association dedicated to the advancement of education that prepares youth and adults for careers, and to provide leadership in developing an educated, prepared, adaptable and competitive workforce. ACTE's joint effort with NRCCUA seeks to increase public awareness, growth and appreciation for career and technical programs.


American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages -

ACTFL is the only national organization dedicated to the improvement and expansion of the teaching and learning of all languages at all levels of instruction. ACTFL and NRCCUA are seeking knowledge of how our nation’s high school students value foreign languages, gauging the path that students take through their education and eventual careers in foreign language education, as well as establishing trend lines demonstrating the popularity of various international languages.


National Band Association -

The National Band Association is the largest band directors' professional organization in the world, organized for the purpose of promoting the musical and educational significance of bands and dedicated to the attainment of a high level of excellence for bands and band music. Their research with NRCCUA explores music and band education trends and experiences within our nation's high schools.


American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance -

AAHPERD is the largest alliance of professional organizations focused on supporting and assisting those involved in physical education, leisure, fitness, dance, health promotion and education, and all specialties related to achieving a healthy lifestyle. Through partnership with NRCCUA, AAHPERD seeks to measure the well-being of our Health Education programs across the country and to understand students’ interests and current experiences in Health and Physical Education related fields.


Center for Civic Education -

The Center for Civic Education is a nonpartisan educational organization dedicated to promoting an enlightened and responsible citizenry committed to democratic principles and actively engaged in the practice of democracy in the United States and other countries. Through its "We the People" curriculum, CCE encourages civic competence and responsibility among the nation's students. NRCCUA has partnered with the Center to gauge students' interests and engagement in the democratic process.


Business Professionals of America -

Business Professionals of America is a national co-curricular career and technical organization for college, high school and middle school students preparing for careers in business and information technology. The mission of Business Professionals of America is to contribute to the preparation of a world-class workforce through the advancement of leadership, academic, citizenship, and technological skills. With NRCCUA, BPA seeks to develop the best possible career and technical education support system by exploring the challenges that students and educators face in business and related fields.


Future Business Leaders of America -

FBLA is the largest business career student organization in the world, preparing students for careers in business and related fields as they bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs. Partnered with My College Options, FBLA seeks to introduce college planning resources to high school business students across the country and provide the organization with valuable data about the futures of their student members.


Family, Career and Community Leaders of America -

FCCLA is the only national organization with the family as its central focus as they promote personal growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Sciences education. Through NRCCUA, FCCLA is interested in learning about students' level of involvement in FCS activities and enrichment programs, and also seeks to expand awareness of the organization through FCS classrooms nationwide.


Technology Student Association -

TSA fosters personal growth, leadership, and opportunities in technology, innovation, design and engineering. Members apply and integrate science, technology, engineering and mathematics concepts through co-curricular activities, competitive events and related programs. TSA and NRCCUA seek to engage students in STEM related college and career interests.


Hispanic Heritage Foundation -

The Hispanic Heritage Foundation identifies, inspires, promotes and prepares Latino role models through national leadership, cultural, educational and workforce programs. NRCCUA is supporting HHF with their research into the unique challenges faced by Latino students in pursuing higher education and their communication efforts to the Hispanic student population.

National 4-H Council -

The National 4-H Council works to advance the 4-H youth development movement in its goal to build a world in which youth and adults learn, grow and work together as catalysts for positive change. 4-H and NRCCUA are striving to advance student involvement in science, technology, engineering and math initiatives and to assist in curriculum and career planning for educators and students in these areas.


Girls Incorporated -

Girls Inc. is a national nonprofit youth organization dedicated to inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. By providing vital educational programs to millions of American girls, they seek to help girls confront societal messages and prepare them to lead successful, independent and fulfilling lives. Integral in that mission is inspiring girls to attend and succeed in college. That is why Girls Inc. has partnered with My College Options to ensure access to necessary college planning information, particularly for those in high-risk, underserved areas.


Leadership Enterprise for a Diverse America -

LEDA is a non-profit college access organization devoted to developing leaders for our nation by helping public high school students from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds gain admission to the country's leading colleges and universities. LEDA's mission is to cultivate young, gifted talent by participation in leadership curriculum after the junior year of high school. Through research they hope to identify educational and leadership trends, increase awareness and participation in their program and encourage and support students as they seek higher education.


Council for Opportunity in Education -

COE is dedicated to furthering the expansion of educational opportunities that help students overcome class, social, academic and cultural barriers to higher education through their TRIO programs, Upward Bound and Talent Search. The Council is partnering with My College Options to deliver much needed college planning information to the students in their programs.


DECA/Delta Epsilon Chi -

DECA/Delta Epsilon Chi is an international association of high school and college students studying marketing, management and entrepreneurship in business, finance, hospitality and marketing sales and service. They seek to develop students' skills and competence for marketing careers, to build self-esteem, to experience leadership and to practice community service. NRCCUA is partnering with DECA to highlight the experiences and career goals of students in their programs.


Teach For America -

Teach For America is the national corps of outstanding, recent college graduates of all academic majors who commit two years to teach in urban and rural public schools and become leaders in the effort to expand educational opportunity. NRCCUA is working with TFA to measure the impact of their corps members on the students they teach and to assist them in building the movement to eliminate educational inequality through our nation's most promising future leaders.


Scholarship America -

Scholarship America's mission is to mobilize America, through scholarships and educational support, to make post-secondary education possible for all students. Through an inspiring group of programs, we provide resources and structure for cities, school districts, companies, foundations and individuals who would like to transform the lives of exceptional and diverse students in order to create a better nation through education.


National Academy Foundation -

NAF is an acclaimed national network of high school career academies in urban districts with rigorous curricula in finance, engineering, hospitality and tourism, and information technology. Their mission is to sustain these career academies to support the development of America's youth toward personal and professional success in high school, in higher education, and throughout their careers. NAF has joined with NRCCUA to measure the effects of NAF classroom experiences on the future aspirations of its students.
